Keisuke Midori founded the NGO that promotes fair trade in 2010 and managed it. He also has 10 years of experience teaching in schools. In his last three years as vice-principal, he established and managed Japan's first publicly funded private school. There, he worked with a multinational staff to create an attractive school with special features in International Baccalaureate, English education, and Environmental Education. He has been working for the Ministry of the Environment Japan since January 2022. There, He promotes not only school education, but also environmental education and Education for Sustainable Development in cooperation with various stakeholders in Japan and abroad.
